Totally agree with you Shorty on the styling. I’m not a fan at all of the interior styling or the rear end of the Camaro, although I’m not much of a fan of the rear lights to the new stang either. Mind you out of all three, the new stang would be my pick. The new Roush’s are jaw dropping.

But this is the first Mustang I’ve ever seen that doesn’t look at a corner and get confused.
The Camaro has substantial straight line performance, but doesn’t deliver in the turns. But maybe I’m trying to extract too much “sports car” from these Muscle Cars.
The Camaro’s styling inside and out is “love it or hate it” dramatic. I like it. The Stang is clean and doesn’t make a scene. (Rhyme? lol) hard to pick just one.

Yeah, I love the new Mustang. First one I’ve ever liked. It performs wonderfull well for being 100+ offf the Camaro. Where I live, the new Camaros are a dime a dozen. I’m a diehard GM fan, and I’d love to have a Camaro, but now every guy and his dog has one. They’re as common as the Challenger. I also like that the Mustang doesn’t shout about its looks. C&D said “less stare at the dancing bear” styling. I agree.
I love all three. And would get the R/T Challenger to stay true to its roots.

First off, the reason they used the R/T is because it’s the closest in price. Dodge doesn’t have anything to compete with these two in this price range.
The SS gets to 60 in 4.8-5.0, depending on who you ask. The SRT8 does it in 5.1. Also the Challenger ROLLS through the turns. The Camaro is slightly better. None of these cars are ever gonna be like Lotus through the twisties. The Challenger nails the looks, and the brawny straight line, cruising demeanor of a muscle car the best.

The GT500 doesn’t compete with the Camaro in price. Let’s go ahead and sub in a CTS-V for the Camaro since you’ve subbed a $30k car for a $45k car.
