  1. hmmm, dont forget, …
hmmm, dont forget, The audi Quattro is also a classic and i feel its becoming, of and The Golf mk1 GTI, already a classic.

  2. For real.
    For real.

  3. if anything, it …
if anything, it will be the scirocco either mk1 or mk2

  4. The Corrado is a …
The Corrado is a 2.9 V6. The R indicates that it was a very narrow tilt on the cylinders for a V6 : 10.6° or 15° as opposed to the more normal 60 or 90. That allowed it to be shoehorned into little cars like the Golf and Corrado but obviously made for a taller engine.

No way in is that thing going to be a classic either. I think Hammond hurt his head when he destroyed that rocket car.

    The Mercedes yes.

  5. Hammond says the …
    Hammond says the Corrado has a 2.9 V6. Butt doesn’t the VR6 means its a “inline” 6 cilinder ?? not a V shape.

    Viper

  6. Corrado FTL :(
Corrado FTL :( Electrical system was put together by autistic eight year olds. Good looking, and the VR6 is a great engine, but one of the least reliable VW’s ever.

  7. I don’t care what …
I don’t care what other people’s comments say, the FACT is that 4WS was for low speed maneuverability AKA parking in dense Japanese cities. They stopped including it because its high complexity added weight and hampered performance. 4WS won’t do to help you at race speeds.

  8. I dont know about …
I dont know about that VW, but I always thought the Cosworth benz was a coming classic

  9. you’re bullshit. …
you’re bullshit. 4WS IS NOT FOR PARKING YOU DUMBASS! read other peoples comments first. The ‘88-’91 Prelude was a descent car at the time it was released and in production.

  10. Dude were talking …
Dude were talking about a classic not an ugly stain. Merc will always be a classic now the vw iono cuz its a fwd but dude dont compare high class cars of their time with low class economy of their time.

  11. that merc looks …
    that merc looks awesome

  12. Corrado’s FTW <3 lol
    Corrado’s FTW <3 lol

  13. i love my vr6. its …
    i love my vr6. its got a bit more than 190hp tho…

  14. I never implied …
I never implied HICAS was of any good :D Actually I think, that correct amount of toe is the way to go :)

  15. Yeah dude good …
Yeah dude good point, you got me there, but then let’s also mention monster trucks - they have 4 wheel steering too as well as some buses and trucks :) HICAS allows max 1 degree of rear steering or something and this limit is inevitable due to the RWD. So compared to 4ws it’s a cool piece of engineering and a brave idea to put such system on a RWD vehicle but is it really useful?

  16. Ever hear of Nissan …
    Ever hear of Nissan HICAS?

  17. I’m not a Honda …
I’m not a Honda fanboy, I like many different makes and I like those old Nissans you mentioned too. I have had a Nissan Stanza Coupe with RWD and it was a very nice car. Silvia is a great model too, yes. I just happen to think that Honda are more innovative and Prelude was ahead of its time. My only dislike about Honda is the FWD. That’s where Nissan wins.

  18. 4WS is a Honda …
4WS is a Honda patented mechanism and no Nissan has ever had 4WS. The only other company who ever tried to create rear wheel steering system was Mazda after Honda released 4WS Prelude, but they failed and their project was abandoned, while Honda’s 4WS is still present in most Preludes and some Accords. The only reason why other cars don’t have it still is called Honda pioneer engineering and yes it’s not cheap and companies now produce cars as cheap as possible,so why put a 4WS in a plastic car?

  19. You posted fanboy …
You posted fanboy bullshit as fact dude, learn to make the distinction. 4WS IS on the Nissan 300ZX and I believe some version of the Silvia/240SX as well. Its heavy, unreliable, and useless as most cars disable it at speed because it would result in squirrelly handling. If you want an example of a modern classic, I would say the 240sx/Silvia would be a good example: RWD, decent power (with SR20DET anyway), proper 5-speed with LSD, known for good handling, great car all around.

  20. I give up, I …
I give up, I already told you 4WS is not for parking but you don’t even read, last time you were claiming 4WS was on Nissan… How do you deal in life with such ignorance. I just wonder if Prelude sucks what are your rides? VW? Mercedes? GM? Seriously. Because it all started from this movie predicting that this Mercedes and the VW Corrado are future classic cars, which I seriously doubt. And finally, you are 15, right?

  21. top gear is the …
top gear is the best car show in the world…. they should check out that garage in portugal where they found 180 classic cars…

  22. how tight was the …
how tight was the slalom? Congratulations, you can park a Prelude better than a Ferrari, what a surprise. 4WS is fanboy bullshit and there’s a good reason cars don’t have it today. That article was very obviously written by a fanboy as well. Prelude sucks, deal with it.

  23. but lets face it, …
but lets face it, how often do u slalom through the road??? it might have that 4ws crap but do u have any idea how hard those are 2 work on??? or find parts for?? really its not a practical car to own at all.

  24. “The four-wheel …
“The four-wheel steering system was a major piece of engineering and the third generation Prelude was the first production car to feature it. To this day, the 1988-1991 Prelude remains the only production vehicle with true mechanical four-wheel steering. In 1987, Road & Track published a test summary that shows the 1988 Honda Prelude 2.0Si 4WS outperforming every car of that year on the Slalom, including all Lamborghinis, Ferraris, and Porsches. ” From Wikipedia.

  25. WTF dude you REALLY …
WTF dude you REALLY don’t have a clue what are you talking about. 300ZX is a Nissan not Honda and it doesn’t have 4WS and it’s RWD while the Lude is FWD. 4WS makes no significant difference in parking, but it’s revolutionary for turns with high speed without understeering. Try one, you’ll be blown away, instead of this absurd arguing here.
