I’m looking to insure an old Ford pickup that I just restored. I don’t plan on parking it in the garage every night and therefor wanted to find a classic car insurance policy that doesn’t require a locked garage storage. The truck will only be used one or twice a week for pleasure so I don’t want to get a typical insurance policy if I can get a classic policy for much less. I tried Hagerty and JC Taylor but have had no luck. Thanks
With Google and "classic car insurance", I got over 7,000,000 hits, so you should be able to find one there that will take it that way. It may cost more if it’s stored outdoors because of more expopsure, but should be available.

When my dad passed away he left me his Antique Car which I loved it meant a great deal to me and was in good condition it could have used a new paint job but other than that it ran I drove it for years and kept repaired when needed but my brother in law was suppose to move it for me when i moved into my new home because something had happened to the trans misssion and I was going to have it repaired but instead he destroyed it, he said a tree fell on it and it was flattened but he has no proof of what was done to the car I think he is lieing he was offered a lot for the car and I think he sold it but I have the title in my name it broke my heart when he did this to me I really loved that car.Can anyone help me I really want him to pay for the car because it was not his property to destroy it belonged to me.
1) You have the Title–in your name– so whatever he did to your car is/was illegal !!
2) Talk to your local Police Dept and get some advice.
3)Your Title should have a VIN Identification number on it so maybe it could be tracked.
4) Write or call the DMV and ask them what action you should take.

I just bought a 1953 Buick and it has been sitting for a while. The tires are flat and beyond holding air for any long period of time.. I tried using a 2.5 ton floor jack but it would not lift the car high enough. What would be the best & safest way to lift it and remove one by one. Also the car was delivered and put into the garage to close to the wall,,so I also need to move it. What is the best option to move it from the wall and get the tires fixed?
Coker Tire among others has original style tires. You didn’t say what kind of floor you have. If it is a cement floor, any decent jack should lift it. You could get "dollies" to move the car with. They are 4 wheeled carts with a tray on them to set the wheel on. If the tires are junk, just hook a chain to it and pull it out. You will not damage the wheels just moving it a little.
