how much would a Vintage 50s car cost when i can own a car?

i’m 11 and i’v LOVED 30s,40,s50s, and 60s cars sence i was almost 4. when i’m about 18 (in 7 years) i want to own a perfect Vintage car. ( i want a 50s van/RV thing) so in about 7 to 10 years, how much do you think they would be?

It’s great to dream. But such a vehicle is out of reach for a young teen driver.

Keep your dreams alive and when you become a successful adult you can buy nice things like Vintage Cars.

  2. probably real cheap/if obama gets cap and trade law through the cheap gas will be about 10 bucks a gallon/you will need a loan just to drive around the corner

  3. Plan on spending over $20,000 for a decent old car. If you want it perfect, plan on $60,000 or more.
I bought my first vintage car at 16. It is a 1935 Ford pick up. It was a cab and frame. It took me 6 years to build it and I have been driving it for 15 years now.

When I was 22, I bought a 1955 Chevrolet Panel truck and rebuilt it, then I traded it for a killer Snap On tool box.

2 Years ago, I drove from San Diego to Oakland to buy a 1955 Chevrolet station wagon. It was an older restoration job and I picked it up for $12,000. It is getting a new engine/transmission this weekend!

I am currently helping my dad with his 1935 Ford Tudor resto rod restoration. It should be on the road in another 6 months or so.
I also have some old 40’s-70’s Jeeps that I like to play with.

You are never too young to start your own build of a classic!
My son just turned 4 and he has a 1961 split window VW Bus that we will build for him over the next 10 years.
When I was 14, my dad gave me his old CJ-7 Jeep and told me it was mine as long as I took it completely apart and rebuilt it, so I did. I still have it!
